The information provided in this website will give you a brief outline and insight of our company, being the leading cement producer in the western region with 12% market share of KSA. Yanbu Cement is currently on a transformational path in line with the global cement industry trends as well as KSA’s emphasis on economic diversification and reform. In order to keep pace with these changes and to strengthen our contribution to the Kingdom’s National Transformation Program (NTP 2020) and 2030 Vision, we have initiated several proactive steps with more emphasis on Performance Management. This resulted in 16% increase in clinker capacity and 45% increase in dispatch capability at higher quality levels, in addition to strategic alignment of all business functions facilitating sustainable development. One more remarkable initiative recently has been in the area of environmental protection by setting up a Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Power Plant, which is the world’s largest of its kind at a cement plant location, reducing carbon emission by more than 100,000 tons per annum and generation of 34 MW clean power to meet increased cement grinding requirements.
